I knew there had to be a better way.
I decided to take matters into my own hands, researching specific, high-performance ingredients that met my non-negotiables: all-organic, gluten-free, and certified cruelty-free. My basement quickly transformed into a "mad scientist" lab where I formulated small batches just for myself and my husband.
Then, something shifted.
Here I am at age 52, living in the super dry climate; my friends started asking the same question: "What are you doing? Your skin looks incredible!"
What began as a personal quest for hydration became a labor of love. As those same friends kept coming back for more, I realized I wasn't just making skincare—I was making a difference. Today, Salts & Sugars is a reflection of that journey: small-batch, handmade, and thoughtfully curated skincare and body scrubs that actually work.
